About the Facilities Operations Internship

The Facilities Operations Internship Program will provide interns with a breadth of departmental responsibilities, ample opportunities for different types of training, and exposure to a variety of internal departments and external vendors that Facilities collaborates with on a recurring basis. If you are interested in pursuing a career in Facilities, this 10-week summer internship will provide you a valuable experience at a complex global firm.

During your time with us, you will:

• Gain the knowledge and experience of a Global Move Team’s responsibilities including day to day space planning, scenario development, move projects, and Firm special projects
• Learn Facilities related software basic functionality to assist with our Integrated Workplace Management System (IWMS)
• Assist with creating presentation materials leveraging the reporting tools that are being updated regularly such as global occupancy and space utilization
• Develop a working knowledge of Facilities department work processes, Firm workplace culture, and policies essential for effective service delivery to users (reception services, preparing and managing budgets, and events)
• Prepare financial analysis and presentation materials for ad hoc requests in order to support Facilities Operations efforts across the world
• Assist in tracking budget versus actual operating expenses across regional offices
• Identify and suggest process improvements, and partner with internal resources to help improve internal functions and workflows

Summer Internship Program at Point72

What's required

• Have demonstrated previous academic success as reflected in a minimum GPA of 3.3/4.0
• Demonstration of previous course work in MIS systems
• Can manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Possess a strong attention to detail
• Have strong analytical, writing, verbal communication, and technical skills
• Familiarity and/or ability to learn facilities related software programs
• Have a commitment to always acting with professionalism and integrity
• Demonstrate an ability to work cooperatively with all levels of staff
• Commitment to the highest ethical standards

Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
