WHO WE NEED:
We're currently looking for a Facilities Porter to join our high-performing Facilities team and provide our employees with quality service. If you're a fit, the following things should sound like you:

• A motivated self-starter who doesn't wait to be told what to do. When they see a task that needs to be done, they tackle it.
• Someone who is dependable and has reliable transportation to and from work.
• An individual who is able to handle basic technology (email correspondence, computer navigation, basic typing skills).
• A person who is able to be on their feet for extended periods and able to safely lift up to 50lbs unaccompanied.
• Ability to communicate in English. Being bilingual is a plus (Spanish).

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain cleanliness of facilities. (i.e. vacuum, trash takeout, dusting, cleaning surfaces, etc...).
• Perform daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual janitorial/maintenance services both indoor and outdoor including parking areas, courtyard, green areas, etc.
• Ensure the bathrooms, kitchen (i.e. stove, toaster oven, fridge, trash receptacle, etc) and office supply areas , and utility and janitorial closets are clean and organized at all times.
• Assist in setup/teardown of onsite events.
• Pickup, receive, and restock needed supplies for campus needs.
• Notify Facilities Manager and Facilities Operations Specialist when supplies need replenishing.
• Move, arrange, pick up, and distribute furniture, supplies, and equipment as needed (following safety guidelines).
• Communicate maintenance requests with the team and ensure fulfillment within 24 hours or less.
• Identify and report maintenance, safety, fire hazards, and repair problems.
• Respond to emergency facilities requests.
• Minor electrical / plumbing repairs
