Facilities Security Officer

Job objective: This is an exciting role in a growing tech company. In this role you will be responsible for planning and building secure facilities and implementing effective security systems and managing our personnel clearance program. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on customer value and prior experience in developing and implementing rigorous security processes that ensure compliance with security policies and regulations.

• Lead the Daily management of personnel and physical security programs
• Develop and maintain security systems and procedures that effectively control site access and safeguards Sensitive, CUI and Classified information
• Serve as the primary POC with USG and DSCA security contacts and coordination of associated system of records, certifications, reporting or investigations
• Active partner with leadership in each functional department to understand departmental security requirements and products and their relation to secure and classified customer programs
• Plan and execute internal company-wide training, audits and process verification

• Degree or certification in related field
• 6+ years working in Security roles and 3 years in technical Facility Security Officer role supporting classified USG programs
• Working Knowledge of NISPOM, FCL and Personnel security levels
• Experience working with a security system of record in coordination with JPAS, DISS, NISS, NCCS, eQIP, and other government security systems
• Excellent organization, oral and written communication skills
• Ability to respond quickly to incidents and reporting efforts
• Project management methods and Risk Management tools
• Knowledge of DoD, ITAR security regulations
• Active DoD Top Secret Clearance
• US Citizen

• Experience in Electronics, RF manufacturing, system integration and sell-off to government and commercial customers
• Exposure to Agile product development
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
