Facility Coordinator

Sumo Logic is seeking an enthusiastic, self motivated on-site Facility Coordinator for the HQ office in Redwood City, CA.  Leadership abilities and phenomenal customer service orientated to Executives can set you apart from our candidate pool.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facility Management:
• Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for repairs, maintenance, and improvements of the office premises, including HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, and security.
• Monitor and manage office space allocation, ensuring optimal utilization of resources and accommodating the needs of various departments or teams.

• Office Administration:
• Manage office supplies and equipment procurement, ensuring sufficient stock levels and proper allocation across the organization.
• Implement and enforce office policies, procedures, and guidelines to maintain a professional and organized workplace.

• Health and Safety:
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, implementing measures to prevent workplace hazards and accidents.
• Conduct regular safety inspections, fire drills, and emergency preparedness training for employees.
• Collaborate with relevant authorities to obtain necessary permits and licenses for office operations.
• Environmental Sustainability:
• Promote environmentally friendly practices within the office, such as waste reduction, recycling, and energy conservation.
• Explore opportunities to implement green initiatives and reduce the organization's environmental impact.
• Team Coordination:
• Foster a positive and collaborative office culture, ensuring effective communication and cooperation among employees.
• Support department heads and team leaders with their space and equipment requirements.
• Oversee office events and meetings, coordinating logistics and facilities arrangements

Required Qualifications and skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 -3 years in related positions

The expected annual base salary range for this position is $84,000 - $113,000 . In addition to base pay, certain roles are eligible to participate in our bonus or commission plans, as well as our benefits offerings, and equity awards. Compensation varies based on a variety of factors which include (but aren’t limited to) role level, skills and competencies, qualifications, knowledge, location, and experience.
