About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Facility Maintenance & Cleaning Technician to maintain our facility in excellent working condition. This role combines hands-on repair work with daily cleaning responsibilities to ensure a safe functional and welcoming environment for all staff and visitors. Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
What. You’ll Be Doing:
Facility Maintenance & Repairs -
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs including basic plumbing electrical carpentry and HVAC tasks
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and repair needs throughout the facility
- Conduct regular inspections of building systems and equipment to identify potential issues
- Replace light bulbs filters and other consumable items as needed
- Repair or replace broken fixtures hardware and building components
- Maintain inventory of supplies and tools needed for repairs
- Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs when necessary
Daily Cleaning Duties -
- Clean and sanitize all restrooms daily including toilets sinks mirrors and floors
- Stock restrooms with paper products soap and other supplies
- Clean and maintain kitchen areas and break rooms including countertops sinks appliances and floors
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners throughout the facility
- Maintain cleanliness standards in all common areas
What You Bring to the Table:
- Previous experience in facility maintenance handyman work or janitorial services preferred
- Working knowledge of basic plumbing electrical and carpentry repairs
- Ability to safely use hand and power tools
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness standards
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks requiring standing bending and reaching
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
