Title: Faculty, Behavioral Health Specialist Fellowship Program
Role Description
The Behavioral Health Specialist Fellowship Faculty members support the development and ongoing management of this groundbreaking program to support new graduate BHS's in their transition to practice in a value-based care model. This role presents a unique opportunity to continue building a program and ensure its success as it grows exponentially in the years to come. Faculty members will collaborate with others to ensure the development of an exceptional training program and provide support to BHS Fellows. The role can include a focus on preceptor development, curriculum creation and/or evaluation, advocacy, mentorship and other projects. All faculty members will be responsible for direct support of program participants and will maintain a 0.4 FTE of clinical practice at Oak Street Health.
Core Responsibilities::
This position reports to the Director of Behavioral Health for their 12 hours of administrative time per week. Clinical supervision of faculty members will remain with their center or regional medical director.

Role Description

Core Responsibilities::
- Create competency-driven curriculum for program participants.
- Develop mentor and participant evaluation and plan/coordinate dissemination of findings and direct feedback.
- Continuously assess and improve mentor curriculum and fellowship based on formal evaluation findings and participant feedback.
- Provide ongoing support, mentorship, training and evaluation to the fellowship and fellow teams.
- Continuously and systematically communicate successes and challenges ins in supervision with recommended solutions.
- Participate in all orientation, team building and training activities.
- Oversee our Clinical Supervision efforts across the BH program.
- Collaborate with the Clinical Behavioral Health Director to develop a robust Continuing education program for the BHS cohort.
- This position reports to the Clinical Director of Behavioral Health.

- Currently practicing as a Behavioral Health Specialist.
- Highly organized individual who can keep multiple tasks moving forward
- Exceptional communication skills, able to prepare written and verbal reports, and communicate complex and delicate information
- Comfort presenting to and communicating with leaders as well as front line staff
- Highly collaborative, able to coordinate with and across multiple departments and navigating a matrixed organizational structure
- Goal-setting and long-range planning: must be able to work with program team to organize and coordinate systems in order to achieve objectives
- Appreciates a challenge and brings a solution-oriented approach to problems
- US work authorization
- Someone who embodies being "Oaky"
