Applicants for this position have the flexibility to work remotely.

Negotiates with external constituents, attorneys and attends telephonic hearings or face to face appearances with NY Law Judges.

Establish and maintain a responsive, professional working relationship by interfacing with and responding to external constituents (advocacy groups, NY Department of Health and administrative law judges / assistants).

Facilitate procedural due process for Fidelis participants.

Strategize, plan, schedule, adjudicate, resource, and data track standard fair hearings.

Plan, schedule, adjudicate, resource, and data track expedited determinations.

Interface with all Fidelis operational teams to obtain relevant, accurate data and information to support fulsome understanding and presentation of a FH case.

Education/Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare or related field and 2+ years' experience with health benefit plan fair hearing operations or similar field, particularly Medicaid, required. Some experience as a lead also required.

Master's degree from accredited college or university and/or 3 to 5 years' experience with health benefit plan Fair Housing operations or similar field, particularly Medicaid and Long Term Care, preferred.

License/Certification: Juris Doctorate from accredited law school preferred.

The salary range for NY is: $82,600 - $148,700

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
