Summary:

This is a Roaming Family Therapist position that will support our Inpatient, PHP, Intake, and Clinical Therapy depending on which area needs help. Provides family assessments, family therapy, crisis intervention, and telephone triage for psychiatric inpatients, PHP, ER, and discharged patients. Participates in group therapy, multi-disciplinary treatment, diagnostic conferences, and diagnostic interviews. Provides case management services for all patients. Manages patients' mental health benefits, and keeps informed of all information regarding the patients treatment and their payor. Available for Intake on-call on as as-needed basis.

Schedule: Mon-Fri (first shift) with occasional weekend coverage needed.

Education/Qualifications:

• Master's degree in social work or related field.
• Experience in providing family therapy.
• Education in child growth & development.
• Hospital & Pediatric experience preferred.

Required Certification/Licensure:

• Licensed by State of Texas: LMSW, LCSW or LPC
• CPR Heartsaver; CPI Non-Violent Crisis Intervention - Units 1-7 & 9-10 plus the CPI Childrens Control Position from Unit 8 or must be completed within 60 days of start date.
• Qualified as a QMHP (Qualified Mental Health Professional) by the Texas Department of Health.
