The Role
IEQ Capital is looking for a motivated professional to join our Foster City-based team as a Family Office Associate. The IEQ Family Office Associate plays a critical role in supporting the firm and the firm’s family office clients while working closely with the firm’s Senior Wealth Strategist. The role is essential to organizing and tracking data, managing projects, creating client deliverables, and managing third-party relationships. The Family Office Associate will have the opportunity to work closely with, and learn from, the team and Senior Leadership. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Utilize Salesforce to track family office metrics such as client services, prospects, and action items
- Manage and support family office internal inquiries
- Act as a project manager for family office deliverables between the family office and client teams
- Collaborate with teams to create client deliverables with PowerPoint, Visio, and potentially other planning software tools with IEQ training provided
- Manage and track third-party referrals and relationships
- Analyze all aspects of the IEQ Family Office offering (including large data sets in Salesforce)
- Manage the pipeline for all internal inbound inquiries related to the family office offering
- Collaborate with various firm business units to identify opportunities and service needs
Qualifications
- 0-3 years of relevant experience (internship experience is applicable)
- Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills
- Interest in financial and tax planning for high-net-worth families or individuals
- Ability to thrive in and keep up with an ever-changing, fast paced environment
- High level of integrity and humility
- Must be able to think critically, effectively, and proactively identify needs and issues
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience owning projects & initiatives while delegating responsibilities as needed is a plus
- Must have high attention to detail in all aspects of the role, working quickly and accurately
- Must be self-directed and able to work with individuals at all levels, including executive management
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team
- Bachelor’s degree required
Compensation: $90,000 – $110,000 depending on skills and experience
