F&B Community Outreach and Engagement Manager

As the fastest-growing fintech company in the United States, the Melio team is expanding to Denver to continue to impact and aid small businesses across the country. We are looking for collaborative, positive, and hardworking team members to help grow and scale this new office!

We are looking for a Community Manager for our Wine Melio Community in Denver. This person will join the Growth (Marketing) team of Melio and will create the community from scratch. 

How you’ll make an impact:

• Create a local community from A - Z, focused on wine, food, and beverage.
• Creating events for the community, online communications channels, creating local partnerships, affiliate programs with the Melio affiliate team, creating local social content, etc.
• Working closely with the Brand lead of Melio in order to share Melio messaging and brand best practices.
• Partner with internal cross-functional teams (Marketing, Brand, Content, Growth, Sales) to provide marketing insight, program timelines, and deliverables within budget. 

What we’d love to see: 

• 3+ years work experience as a Community Manager or Marketing manager in the Wine or F&B Ecosystem.
• Proven experience in creating events offline & online in the Wine or F&B ecosystem. 
• A true connecter, a great listener, and extraordinarily empathetic
• Experience launching community initiatives (e.g. building an online forum, launching an ambassador program, creating an event series, and writing an email newsletter)
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Know how to use social management and tools
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent copywriting skills
• Experience in the payment space is a plus
