Position Summary
Digital Gateway Consumer & Wealth Technology Team is going through an exciting technology roadmap set to transform the financial lives of our Retail & Wealth customers. We are looking for talented & highly motivated Technical Lead / Feature Lead responsible for providing leadership, technical direction, and oversight to a team as they deliver technology solutions. Key responsibilities of the role include developing solutions and processes for delivering features based on their knowledge of design/architectural patterns and Agile practices. This role ensures the systems design and requirements are aligned to achieve the desired business outcomes, and coding/quality principles are aligned to achieve the desired technology outcomes. He desired individual would have built significant experience through multiple software implementations and have developed both depth and breadth in several technical competencies.

  • Delivery - Design, develop and be accountable for feature delivery. Work with the Product Owner to ensure that product backlog/requirements are healthy, with clear acceptance criteria.
  • Technical Leadership - Play a Team Lead role and mentor the team. Apply enterprise standards for solution design, coding, and quality. Ensure solution meets product acceptance criteria with minimal technical debt.
  • Technical Acumen - Experience with Java Programming language, Java Frameworks, HTTP / REST interaction, System integration, Java Design Patterns, Development IDE, JEE Application structure & Design. Strong understanding of Java packages, binaries (JAR / WAR / EAR) web application constructs. Demonstrable experience designing java applications & components distributed software.
  • Software Design & Architecture - Deep knowledge of REST, Gateway architectures / frameworks, micro-services.
  • Experience with Tools / Stacks / Processes - Thorough exposure to SDLC tools, troubleshooting,
  • Solution Delivery Process - Understands the roles and responsibilities of other teams who participate in the lifecycle and engages as required.
  • Effective Communicator - Strong verbal & written communication skills.
  • Analytical Thinking - Demonstrates ability to identify root causes to solve complex problems in highly unstable situations.
  • Team Player - Collaborates with own team and across teams. Asks questions to obtain views from others.
  • Influences Decisions - Uses a combination of facts, business priority, risk to exert influence. Receives agreement to ideas by identifying and working collaboratively with the team and key stakeholders.
