Responsibilities
What you'll be able to do:
Lead the development and integration of control functions and other co-simulation models for algorithm development and calibration. Support the concept selection, design, and development of new features concepts, control features, and functional safety concepts using virtual tools. Evaluate performance attributes for all global products, which will include tracking, analyzing, and presenting performance results. Develop required tool sets to support model-based development, model-based calibration, and smart desktop calibration efforts. Develop control calibration, validation, and public road sign-off, including in-vehicle design verification planning, report writing, and test performance interpretation. Coordinate with feature development engineers to support execution of design verification plans to ensure proper feature-level performance. Work with cross-functional and global teams to conduct functional safety analysis of new and carry-over electrification driveline technologies.

Qualifications
You'll have
- Requires a Master's or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 2 years of experience in the position offered or 2 years of experience designing or applying performance or optimization algorithms and methods for calibration optimization.
- 2 years of experience: performing virtual vehicle model development, analysis, and delivery; or performing model-based calibration with analytical models and tools.
- Requires 2 years of experience developing software for simulation tools; or designing and engineering automotive features or components.
- Also requires 1 year of experience developing vehicle control solutions utilizing industry standard tools
- Employee reports to office in Dearborn, MI. Position may work from home, but must live within commuting distance of stated office.
- Experience may be, but need not be, acquired concurrently.
We are offering a salary of $91,021 to $150,340 per year.
