Federal Communications Specialist - Secret Clearance
Job Description
Chevo is hiring an experienced Federal Communications Consultant, with an active secret clearance to join our expanding firm. This opportunity will provide the opportunity for significant client interaction, allowing for the use of communication management skills, and requires knowledge of Federal business processes to provide communications, outreach, and technical expertise. This position will be 98% remote, with periodic on-site client engagement, located in Washington, DC.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage the client website utilizing WordPress, SharePoint, and HTML coding.
- Produce web posts, documentation, and messaging for client products and services available to clients worldwide.
- Develop and maintain a Newsletter including subscriptions, data tracking, and quality control.
- Create and manage data measurement dashboards within Piwik (aka Matomo).
- Manage the automation, communications, and data visualizations for the client survey utilizing Qualtrics, MS Excel, and/or Mail-Merge.
- Integrate different data sources in one place using Power App, Power Automate, and Power BI.
- Perform Video Editing for Podcast and MS Stream.
- Function as liaison for communications through the ALDACS and Bureau Notices.
- Provide crisis support (data validation and reporting) for international incidents between the client and the Operations Center.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Active Secret Clearance
- Four (4+) years total work experience
- Two (2+) years of federal government experience
- Expertise with all MS office Tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with Web Tools including WordPress, SharePoint, and HTML
- Familiarity with data tools such as Piwik (aka Matomo)
- Understanding of survey tools including Qualtrics, MS Excel, and/or Mail-Merge
- Knowledge of data integration using Power App, Power Automate, and Power BI
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
Desired Qualifications:
- Able to troubleshoot with technical teams
- Expertise in working with the help desk to solve client issue
- Understand Information Resource Management (IRM)
- Ability to collaborate with senior client executive
- Initiative-taking individual that possesses excellent time management and organizational skills
