HDR seeks a Federal Marketing Coordinator to work closely with technical staff and proposal managers to organize and coordinate proposal submissions for our federal program. In addition, you will be involved in capture planning and proposal preparation activities to prepare responses to federal solicitations. You will work in a fast-paced environment that values your organizational talents and digital skills.

Responsibilities

• Support and participate in the preparation of competitive proposals, qualifications packages, and interview presentations
• Understand the capture planning and proposal development process.
• Develop marketing materials, including projects sheets, resumes, and other collateral.
• Work with capture teams consisting of technical, operations, and marketing staff
• Apply best practices and process improvement initiatives.
• Actively support senior proposal coordinators and proposal managers in developing proposals from start to finish; apply marketing best practices to improve the quality and efficiency of response.
• Adhere to proposal schedules and confirm compliance
• Assist with editing and proofreading proposal documents.
• Participate and support concurrent proposals, including review meetings, follow-up actions, proposal production, and final submittals.
• Evaluate technical content to ensure RFP requirements and evaluation criteria are met, and the proposal is compliant.
• Participate in quality reviews of proposals and interview materials
• Track amendments and clarifications to ensure the final proposal incorporates all required information.
• Understand quality, budget, and schedule performance of proposal efforts.
• Deconstruct proposal contents and capture the material in the firm's database upon submission
• Support activities for client interviews, as well as proposal debriefs.
• Perform other duties as needed.

• Associate degree in a closely related field or combination of education and relevant experience• A minimum of 1 year document layout and production experience• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), InDesign, Illustrator• Experience in proposal planning and coordination a must• Writing ability, strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks• Ability to handle tight deadlines and make independent decisions critical to job success• Quick self-starter, team-oriented and able to work with different personalities and professional styles• Previous experience in the A/E industry strongly desired• An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• Experience in the A/E/C industry
• Ability and desire to travel and engage with others in-person
