Your Impact
We are seeking a Federal Special Projects Coordinator to support the President, Axon Federal with administrative activities and strategic initiatives to help scale the business. This role will be responsible for schedules and projects to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. This role will help improve productivity for the President of Axon Federal and his leadership team to ensure their time is spent efficiently and deliberately. This is a critical and highly visible role that is responsible for enhancing the President’s effectiveness by providing information management support and representing the executive to internal and external stakeholders.
This role offers a high performing individual to learn how to scale a high growth business. Successful Federal Special Projects Coordinators will be positioned to go on to be come key contributors or leaders within one of Axon Federal’s functions including sales & business development, program management, operations, or government affairs & communications.
Your Day to Day
- Support any activities and special initiatives led by the President and/or Chief of Staff, including Executive Team meetings and functions and other engagements.
- Improve the quality of the activities in the organization by evaluating and re-designing processes and implementing changes. Contribute to the development and implementation of standard operating procedures and knowledge management.
- Create comprehensive information packets, briefing books, and presentations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional federal teams to understand key performance metrics and support routine reporting
- Provide administrative support to Axon Federal’s President by managing and organizing calendars, arranging travel, reviewing expenses, and coordinating with both internal and external stakeholders to align meetings and schedules.
- Handle business, company, and personnel details of highly confidential and sensitive nature, and engage with high level contacts inside and outside the company.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- At least three years of work experience
- Demonstrated experience with complex projects (both internal and external)
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including a high customer service aptitude
- Must be able to plan and organize tasks and appointments with competing levels of urgency and importance
- Proficient in MS Office applications
- Must have a high sense of urgency and follow-up
- Should be able to work with internal and external stakeholders to include the board of directors, executive-level customers, politicians, and senior members throughout multiple organizations
Preferred Qualifications
- Military or federal agency experience
- Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team setting
- Concern for quality and deadlines

The Pay: Axon is a total compensation company, meaning compensation is made up of base pay, bonus, and stock awards. The starting base pay for this role is between USD 70,000 in the lowest geographic market and USD 130,000 in the highest geographic market. The on target earnings range for this role is between USD 80,000 in the lowest geographic market and USD 140,000 in the highest geographic market. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: level, function, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, geographic market, and often a combination of all these factors.
