About The Team:
The Client Solutions team is responsible for leading BlueLabs' client engagements within the commercial, political, and advocacy sectors - and diversifying BlueLabs' client base and revenue. The team leads pioneering work within the political/advocacy, entertainment, and other private sector industries - specializing in influencer analytics, persuasion modeling, and experimental design. We are a fast-moving group that works collaboratively to develop custom solutions and explore new tools and approaches for our clients. We work with prospective clients from first contact through contract and program implementation, making sure they receive the information and support they need to make optimal decisions.
About The Role
:
Fellows will be provided a chance to work directly with data scientists, strategists, analysts, and client leads on meaningful, hands-on work, while being guided and supported by their manager. Fellows will also be expected to complete a capstone project as part of their program with BlueLabs.
The Client Solutions Political Strategy Fellow will work on some of BlueLabs' most impactful advocacy and political client engagements. They will help us guide the delivery of insights that we deliver for our clients, particularly working with internal teams to complete analyses that answer our clients' most pertinent questions. This role will be part of our Client Solutions Team, which is responsible for leading a variety of client engagements and growing and diversifying BlueLabs' client base and revenue.
The Client Solutions, Political Strategy Fellow will work with BlueLabs for 12 weeks at 40 hours per week, from June 5, 2023 - August 25, 2023.
In this position you will:
- Research and draft thought leadership on key political and advocacy topics using BlueLabs analysis and data
- Contribute to deliverables that tell the story of our clients' program, findings, and recommendations
- Assist the client account leads in documenting processes that work and implementing new approaches to some of our work
- Help coordinate with client account leads to ensure deliverables are accurate, on time, and on-budget
- Help author project management style communications, such as client communications, agendas, meeting notes, etc.
- Attend research and information sharing events in the political movement to inform BlueLabs' political approaches and offerings
What We Are Seeking:
- Genuine passion for working with a progressive social impact organization
- Familiarity with (or interest in learning) how to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Enthusiasm to learn how to use data to tell a story
- You're a proactive communicator who pays close attention to details when completing tasks and working with others
- Experience working with others to follow project management guidelines (deliverable schedules, meeting cadences, etc.)
- You're generally familiar with the type of work that advocacy and political organizations conduct during election cycles
- You have worked with spreadsheet and presentation software (Excel, Google Sheets, PowerPoint, Keynote)

The compensation for this role is $25 per hour, at 40 hours per week.
