Sales Applications Engineer

Desio, Italy

Our Photonics division is seeking a Sales Application Engineer, based in Desio Italy. An exciting opportunity to join our Commercial function and work with our innovative products.

Key Responsibilities:

• As a Sales Applications Engineer, you will collaborate with the sales team in persuasion activities.
• You will assist customers in understanding product capabilities and finding the best fit for their needs.
• You will communicate and demonstrate our value proposition in collaboration with sales teams to win business. Assessing customer needs and recommending appropriate solutions.
• Developing prototypes based on customer needs and in coordination with sales team and conducting demonstrations.
• Ensuring applications meet the needs and preferences of intended customers.
• Collaborating with sales team to develop and execute sales strategies, and launch new products and applications.
• Assisting with prototyping, costing, testing, and validating new applications or products.

KPIs and Metrics:

• Project conversion rate
• Number of technical demonstrations
• Quality of technical demonstrations

Skills and Experience:

• Education - Possess a B.S. in one or more engineering disciplines.
• Be able to communicate technical information to non-technical customers.
• Be able to learn new technologies and adapt them for new applications quickly and effectively.
• Be results-driven and customer-focused, self-motivated and able to work well in a team.
• Be able to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.

Travel Requirements:

• Up to 40%
