Field Application Engineer, PQ

What you'll do:

• Support pre-sales activity for data center business such as 3P UPS as well as 1P US, battery and cabinet, other equipments for bidding working with sales.
• Lead and support factory witness test conducting at Eaton manufacturing plant in ShenZhen, Chia to communicate between custome (mostly Japanese) and Eaton members.
• Represent as technical advisor for customer and distributor.
• Support sales to create configuration detail with communicate East Asia product marketing team and complete quotation.
• Create and present customer proposal PPT include product feature, customer benefit and some detail drawing.
• Communicate sourcing supplier for battery, cabinet vendor to obtain quotation and proposal.
• Hand over all technical matter to project manager when obtain purchase order from customer but sometimes work together to resolve issues.

b. Provide the necessary support to fully implement and sustain the QMS.
c. Communicating to the organization the importance of conforming to QMS requirements.
d. Ensuring the QMS meets its goals.
e. Engage, direct, and support individuals contributing to the QMS.
f. Create a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• BS or higher
• 8+ years Field application engineer or System Engineer for electrical products
• UPS, Battery, Monitoring System, Basic network (IP base)
• Experienced skill to use Microsoft Office product(Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Basic skill to use web meeting application (Teams, zoom, etc)
• Basic skill to operate CAD software.
• Language requirements

a. Japanese speaking: Fluent and deep understanding electrical knowledge for discussion with Japanese electrical engineer.
b. Japanese reading/writing: Fluent email communication with honorific Japanese.
c. English speaking: Mid to Fluent
d. English writing/reading: TOEIC 800+
