This role plays a critical part in ensuring product availability and supply continuity across a fast-moving FMCG environment. You will be responsible for building and managing short- and mid-term demand forecasts while closely coordinating with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams. The position requires balancing data-driven forecasting with real-time market inputs to ensure accurate SKU-level planning and efficient inventory flow. You will actively contribute to Integrated Business Planning (IBP) and Sales & Operations Execution (S&OE) processes, helping align commercial demand with supply capabilities. Working in a highly collaborative, cross-functional setup, you will directly influence service levels, forecast accuracy, and inventory optimization. This is a high-impact role for a professional who thrives in analytical, operational, and stakeholder-driven environments.

Accountabilities:

You will be responsible for driving accurate demand planning, ensuring supply alignment, and improving end-to-end forecasting and inventory performance across assigned markets and SKUs.

  • Develop rolling short-term demand forecasts using statistical models and sales inputs at SKU and depot level
  • Lead demand planning activities within the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) and S&OE processes
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and supply teams to incorporate market trends, promotions, and new product launches into forecasts
  • Partner closely with supply planning teams to ensure product availability, optimize inventory levels, and manage depot-level distribution
  • Monitor primary and secondary sales performance, identifying risks of overstocking or stockouts
  • Conduct root-cause analysis on forecast errors, bias, and service-level gaps, and propose corrective actions
  • Support make-to-order processes for specific customers and ensure timely fulfillment of requirements
  • Drive continuous improvement in forecasting accuracy, service levels, and inventory aging across the network
  • Requirements:

You are an analytical and detail-oriented supply chain professional with strong experience in demand and supply planning within fast-paced FMCG environments.

    • Minimum 2 years of experience in demand or supply planning, preferably in FMCG/CPG industries
    • Strong understanding of forecasting techniques, including statistical models and demand planning methodologies
    • Proficiency in SAP and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Power BI or similar analytics tools
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills
    • Experience working in cross-functional teams including sales, supply chain, and commercial stakeholders
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and handle high-stakes operational discussions independently
    • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams
    • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent qualification preferred
    • Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to balance executional rigor and strategic thinking
    • Benefits:

      • Opportunity to work in a leading global FMCG environment with well-known consumer brands
      • Exposure to end-to-end Integrated Business Planning (IBP) and S&OE processes
      • Strong cross-functional collaboration across commercial, supply chain, and analytics teams
      • Career development opportunities within a large multinational organization
      • Structured learning environment with exposure to advanced forecasting and planning tools
      • Inclusive and diverse workplace culture with recognized commitment to equality
      • Opportunity to work on high-impact supply chain optimization initiatives across multiple channels
