Field Marketing Associate
Job Description
Bond Vet is on a mission to strengthen the human-animal bond through better pet care. We offer primary and urgent care, so we’re there for pets when they need us most. Our clinics are designed with pets and people in mind: warm, friendly, and highly sniffable. We balance this design with a strong focus on technology, all built in-house, which means we can easily innovate our systems to improve the veterinary team, pet, and client experience.
About the Role:
Bond Vet is building the next generation of veterinary clinics from the ground up — and we’re looking for a passionate Field Marketing Associate to join our team and bring our marketing efforts into the field.
Bond Vet is unlike every other clinic out there and is carving a niche with urgent care, so it’s imperative that we are clear about our messaging and that we develop strong relationships with our neighbors. That’s where you come in :)
Our full-time Field Associate will shape our narrative and position in the local community and help to establish our presence in one of Bond’s newest markets. We’re looking for someone with a passion for animals, an energy for disruption, and a relentless focus on events, outreach and community building. You’ll be our boots (er, paws?) on the ground as we grow to become the largest veterinary employer with a handful of new clinics over the next few months.
This is a full time position. This is a hybrid role with 1-2 days required to be worked in office at our corporate office in Chelsea, New York City.
What You’ll Do:
- Work with the brand marketing team to plan, execute, and host local community eventsÂ
- Research, develop, and execute strong partnerships with local shops and pet-friendly businesses; attend relevant partner events to cultivate relationships
- Serve as the voice of Bond in the community, educating the neighborhood on our unique value proposition and handing out swag, stickers, and brochures to get them excited
- Conduct guerilla marketing to build brand awareness throughout the city
- Capture photos & videos at events and in-clinic, posting on social media as requested
- Manage swag & flier inventory in our storage facility, clinics and at local businesses, transporting materials to events and partners as neededÂ
- Assist new clinic openings by setting up marketing materials Â
- Measure the effectiveness of various community outreach activities and optimize future efforts accordingly; share on-the-ground customer sentiment with broader Marketing team
- Dream big and develop creative solutions to spread the word about Bond Vet and our efforts to transform veterinary care!
You Are:
- Friendly, outgoing, and confident in speaking with groups of people large and small
- Passionate about planning and executing great events with the experience to show for it
- Self-motivated and driven to succeed - comfortable with ambiguity and excited by the opportunities it presents
- A creative problem solver who loves to come up with new ideas but is even more excited about acting upon them
- Social-media savvyÂ
- Comfortable with a flexible schedule — this is a full-time role that includes manning events every other weekend (in which case, you will take weekdays off per a set schedule)
- Tri-state based with a car accessible and able to lift heavy boxes as required
- A lover of all things pet related!
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in community outreach, event planning, or marketing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage diverse audiences and convey the value of Bond Vet’s services.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Creative thinker with a passion for developing innovative marketing strategies and initiatives that resonate with pet owners and align with Bond Vet’s brand values.
- Proactive attitude and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team, demonstrating initiative and resourcefulness in driving community engagement efforts.
We Offer:
- Support for your physical and mental wellness: medical, dental & vision plan options and access to mental health support programs
- Time for you and loved ones: great PTO, fully paid parental leave, discounted Bond Vet services for petsÂ
- Dedication to your financial future: competitive pay, 401k match, commuter benefits.Â
- A place to grow: culture that is centered in learning and development, career pathing, mentorships, empowerment and trust
Compensation will fall between $60,000 - $80,000 annually based on experience

Our Values:Â
We’re obsessed with pets: The love we feel for animals drives us to do our best. We work with initiative, positivity and warmth to bridge the gap between human and pet, focusing on wellness to keep a better, stronger bond.Â
We work as a team: We’re knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about a better veterinary experience. We jump at the opportunity to help one another and seek out opportunities to team up on tasks. We’re all in this together - our team, pet owners, and the animal - and our success as a team hinges on all of us doing our best.
We communicate clearly: We speak up, we do what we say, and we’re transparent and honest. We value clear, simple communication.
We work happy: We bring a happy, positive attitude to work because it impacts the energy in the office.Â
We’re empowered: We’re building a new kind of vet experience, and every team member is empowered to try new things and own their decision-making.
Bond Vet provides equal opportunities for everyone that works for us and everyone that applies to join our team, without regard to sex or gender, gender identity, gender expression, age, race, religious creed, color, national origin, ancestry, pregnancy, physical or mental disability, medical condition, genetic information, marital status, sexual orientation, any service, past, present, or future, in the uniformed services of the United States (military or veteran status), or any other consideration protected by federal, state, or local law.
