Field Marketing Coordinator
Job Description
The Field Marketing Coordinator is responsible for supporting SilverSky’s overall marketing initiatives through planning and coordinating Company trade shows, conferences, events and meetings both in person and virtually.
Duties/Responsibilities:- Collaborating with Sales, Marketing and our Channel Partner community on all field marketing events. This includes pre and post event communications, preparing participating teams, and coordinating with Marketing on event campaign tracking and return-on-investment analysis
- Responsible for owning the Events Calendar, tracking all potential events and working with Sales and Partners on prioritization and business benefit on a rolling 3-year calendar
- Tracking events vs budget allocation on a quarterly basis and preparing leadership level reports
- Ensure that conferences are registered in a timely manner and recorded on the Marketing Calendar
- Ensure that SilverSky will have enough personnel to attend the event
- Coordinate all needs for the event including – trade show booth, banner, collateral and give-a-ways and shipment and setup for the event
- Attend events as needed to help coordinate setup, teardown and maintain booth presence
- Ensure that Marketing and Sales has all pre-conference registered attendees and has coordinated with connecting Sales Reps for the event
- Ensure that Marketing & Sales has attendee list for follow up after the event
- Ensuring that when possible, SilverSky is provided a speaking opportunity at the event and coordinating with Marketing and the SilverSky person that their presentation is created and submitted on time
- Creating and maintaining the event booths and banners as needed
- Ensuring that we have the correct inventory of collateral and give-a-ways for the events planned
- Coordinating all SilverSky webinars whether to support customers or partners
- Must be willing to travel
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written communication skills
- Must be proficient in time management and scheduling
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Excel and Adobe PDF is required
- High level problem-solving and communication skills
- The ability to understand the requirements of shipping, conference registration, and conference set up
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 5 years general marketing experience, of which 2 years are field marketing related
This role can be based in Raleigh or Charlotte.Â
