The Mission

To be successful in this role you will need to be creative and dedicated to continually testing, measuring, learning and evolving your events programs.
We’re looking for an experienced field marketing manager to accelerate our success at events and bottom of the funnel (BOF) marketing initiatives. This person will have experience in B2B and be motivated to hit targets and manage multiple stakeholders internally and externally.
You will be responsible for developing activities which drive engagement with attendees and managing execution of region specific demand generation, events, and outreach campaigns, working directly with our sales team and partners. Â
You will be a part of a small but highly productive and agile team of collaborative and creative marketers. Should you decide to explore other functions of marketing and Caylent’s Go-To-Market initiatives, you will have the opportunity to learn and develop skills across Brand, Product, Solution and Digital Marketing.
Your Assignment
- Manage, strategize and execute on initiatives to maximize event marketing activities and related BOF campaigns.
- Ensure successful coordination and execution of events ranging from trade shows to AWS social gatherings to CxO roundtables and more
- Work alongside the demand generation, sales and leadership teams to gather requirements and recommend plans to support prospective customer targets and ensure leads are passed to the relevant teams for follow up
- Track projects, manage lead follow-up, analyze and report on results of events and related BOF marketing activities and campaigns to determine ROI
- Drive marketing influenced pipeline and generate MQLs through onsite and follow up activations
- Manage budgets, forecast and compile reporting metrics for each activity
- Manage researching, selecting, negotiating vendors and services for each specific activity
- Guide and ensure consistency of corporate message and brand awareness throughout each activity
- Lead, manage, supervise and provide direction to event coordinator, contractors and vendors as necessary
Your Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of corporate/field marketing management experience
- Proven experience in event strategy and executing complex events and programs
- A team player with a “can do” positive approach who can think outside the box and problem solve often in difficult situations and on-the-go
- Strong bias for action: ability to juggle multiple priorities and create a sense of urgency in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Must have strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to effectively communicate with internal stakeholders and customersÂ
- Ability to plan all event related details but able to adapt and execute when the unexpected occurs
- Must be organized and detail oriented
- Proven analytical and data decision-making capabilities
- Familiarity with Hubspot, Wordpress, Canva, and Salesforce
- Excellent verbal and written com
