Field Marketing Manager, West + Central
Job Description
LaunchDarkly’s Revenue Marketing team is looking for a Field Marketing Manager to help drive our mission to empower all teams to deliver and control their software through a growing channel of field events.
This role will join our growing Field & Events Marketing team, owning end-to-end planning and implementation of field marketing events in the West/Central. This individual will join a high-performing, dynamic team responsible for developing roadmaps and marketing strategy to drive sales and pipeline growth within the West/Central region. Reporting into the Revenue Marketing department, we’re looking for a skilled field marketer who's passionate about partnering with sales teams to carry out a multi-faceted plan to drive pipeline growth.
Responsibilities:Own end-to-end planning, implementation, and measurement of field events (both virtual and in-person) that educate, engage and inspire LaunchDarkly’s target audiences in the West/Central region to increase awareness and drive demand, adoption, and expansion.
Run end-to-end management (both virtual and in-person), including planning and operations from pre to post, identifying venues/software platforms, vendor management, full project management, creative branding, logistics, partner integration, onsite management, internal communication, and post-event reporting.
Build close partnership with Sales team and understand how marketing works together with sales to drive business growth.
Work cross-functionally with Product Marketing, Partnerships, and Revenue teams to develop messaging, collateral, and CTAs for field marketing programs.
Partner with lifecycle marketing on pre- and post-event campaign promotion and follow up.
Partner with Account-Based Marketing (ABM) on curating and driving strategic efforts for target accounts that include multiple high touch / high value experiences including events, direct mail, digital, virtual, etc.
oversee hitting goals around existing pipeline influence as well as a portion of new pipeline creation.
Regularly reporting on Average selling price (ASP), stage movement, pipeline influence, and percentage of target accounts we are influencing.
Basic Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in regional event marketing or event-based field marketing (SaaS B2B experience is preferred). Experience running in-person, virtual, and hybrid events
Experience working with sales and an understanding of the sales cycle
Experience reporting on metrics and using data to influence decisions. Ability to solve problems in an environment that is constantly changing by using data (strategic and analytical capabilities)
Familiarity with Salesforce
Project Management: organize planning and process management, tracking, and ability to drive accountability. Ability to manage projects on time, on budget with controlled set of resources, using operations tools to track campaign and sales activity for predictable pipeline building.
Comfortable traveling ~25%
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with 6sense &/or Looker
Understanding of the developer ecosystem
Experience marketing or selling DevOps solutions.
