Field Project Technologist

OPPORTUNITY

The primary purpose of this position is to receive and execute all equipment technology project scopes and quotes that do not require onsite customer (or prospect) presence for Hydrite Chemical. These activities include understanding a Field Technologists preference and needs as well as the customer (or prospect) process and being a general technical resource for all relevant parties.

As a Field Project Technologist, primary responsibilities include:

• Uphold Hydrite Chemical’s Mission and Vision Statements through internal and customer centrism.
• Quote and scope all projects that do not require onsite customer (or prospect) presence, assigned by an automated workflow in Microsoft Teams (under advisement of the Field Technology Manager and Director of Commercial Technology).
• Study industry trends and be engaged in understanding what our competition is focusing on, specific to practices, procedures, and concepts.

REPORTING STRUCTURE

• This position reports to the Field Technology Manager.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL CRITERIA

• Bachelor’s Degree in chemical or mechanical engineering is preferred.
• 3-5 years related field experience
• Skill or experience in the following areas are desired:
• Identifying and writing project scopes.
• Specifying equipment.
• Partnering on equipment implementation and installation.
• Starting up of field devices.
• Provide internal and customer training.
• Must have communication and people skills, along with the ability to read, write, and speak English.
