Our Field Service Representatives are a key component to our success. They liaison between a variety of stakeholders. These include but are not limited to benefit plan participants, local union representatives, and employer representatives. With on-the-job training, the field service representatives provide ongoing communication and education about our retirement and health benefit plans.

What you'll be doing...We get it. Employee benefits are complicated. Typically, when someone needs to use their benefits, they are also going through momentous changes. They’re newly retired or planning to soon. Or they are dealing with an important health issue. It may be that they are new in their careers and trying to understand what their benefits mean.
That’s where our Field Service Representatives help. We see this role as a “trainer” or a “teacher” in helping our participants understand the value of the benefits they rightfully have earned.
If hired, you will receive fully paid, on the job, training. With your expertise, you will perform a variety of duties including but not limited to:
- Travel regionally overnight, as required, to different worksites or union halls to answer participant questions
- Coordinate and conduct individual, small and larger group meetings explaining benefits
- When learning of participant benefit issues, take ownership of the issue working with internal and external resources through resolution
- Communicate both verbally and in writing to participant inquiries in both English and Spanish
- Support and participate in activities related to ongoing benefit documentation and communication using your intermediate skills with Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Progress through a structured career development program

- Educated. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experienced: Previous experience in the benefits and/or Human Resources field
- Communication. Excellent verbal/written communication; bilingual Spanish language skills preferred Â
- Organized. Strong organizational and time management skills, ability to multi-task
