This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Field Services Proposal Specialist in the United States.
This role is responsible for leading the full lifecycle of complex technical proposals within the environmental and field services sector, ensuring every submission is accurate, compliant, and highly compelling. You will transform detailed operational, regulatory, and technical information into clear, persuasive proposals that communicate value to clients and stakeholders. The position requires strong coordination across sales, technical, and operational teams to gather inputs such as pricing, safety data, project scope, and qualifications. You will own proposal timelines, manage competing deadlines, and ensure high-quality, on-time delivery in a fast-paced environment. A strong emphasis is placed on regulatory alignment, particularly within hazardous waste and environmental services industries. This is a highly detail-oriented role where your work directly influences business growth and competitive positioning.
Accountabilities
- Lead the end-to-end development of RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs, including kickoff coordination, content development, compliance review, and final submission.
- Translate complex environmental, operational, and technical data into clear, persuasive, and customer-focused proposal narratives.
- Collaborate with sales, technical experts, and operational teams to collect required inputs such as pricing, safety records, and project documentation.
- Develop executive summaries, technical sections, and supporting materials that highlight differentiated value propositions.
- Own and manage the proposal calendar, ensuring all milestones are tracked and submissions are delivered on time.
- Ensure full compliance with client requirements, internal standards, and regulatory expectations across all proposal materials.
- Conduct market, regulatory, and competitor research to tailor messaging for specific environmental and industrial sectors.
- Continuously improve proposal processes, quality standards, and content consistency across all deliverables.
- 5–10 years of experience in bid, proposal, or technical writing roles within environmental services, hazardous waste, remediation, or industrial sectors.
- Strong understanding of hazardous waste operations and environmental regulations, including RCRA, TSCA, and related state-level requirements.
- Proven ability to write, edit, and structure technical and executive-level content in a clear and compelling way.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines under pressure.
- Experience working cross-functionally with sales, operations, and technical subject matter experts.
- High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for proposal development and reporting.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and prioritize competing demands effectively.
- Strong communication skills and ability to translate complex information into client-ready deliverables.
- Competitive salary range: $82,600 – $113,500 depending on location and experience.
