Field Welder (LA CITY certified)

Looking for mid-level certified field welder, millwright, installer, rigger in structural steel.Amechanically inclined individual who has worked in an industrial environment. (Pneumatic, Conveyors, Hydraulics, Duct Installation, Cladding, Fabrication, Installation) Looking for mechanically inclined person to do millwright work (erecting and setting up machinery) Industrial workers/riggers to set steel panels and support frames. • Open to work OVERTIME • Must be LA City Certified • $29 to $31 D.O.E. • MUST HAVE VALID DRIVERS LICENSE Responsibilities • Drive to jobsites in Los Angeles, OC, and Inland Empire counties and work helping welders, construction workers, fabricators to complete various tasks including, but not limited to loading, unloading, prepping work areas, and assisting welders and sheet metal laborers. • Use power tools, hydraulic tools, and pneumatic machinery like Grinders, Hand Tools, saws, drills, etc. • Assist in the preparation of materials for welding, including cutting, grinding, and cleaning. • Ensure that materials are properly aligned and positioned for welding. Ensure that welding machines are in proper working order. • Transport and handle materials using forklifts, cranes, or other equipment as needed. • Clean and maintain work areas, tools, and equipment to ensure a safe and efficient workspace. Assist in the maintenance of welding equipment and tools. • Monitor the welding process to ensure it meets quality and safety standards. Requirements: • 4 - 5 years of Steel Installation, or Fabrication helper experience • FIELD WORK experience is a MUST • FCAW, Dual Shield, SMAW • Knowledge of welding techniques, materials, and machinery. • Available to start ASAP. • LA CITY certified is a MUST.
