As the Final Mile Senior Optimization Analyst, your key responsibilities will be to proactively manage network growth projects, while managing existing network coverage and capacity. You'll collaborate with diverse teams including Region Managers, Agent Leadership, and other functions across the business to identify market growth opportunities and enhance Agent Delivery efficiency. Leveraging AI and data visualization tools, you'll improve data transparency for Final Mile Leadership while developing a Market Health Metric for proactive data-driven decision making and transparency. Actively participate in inclusive growth strategies involving additional Home Delivery volume and customer integration. Additionally, you'll foster cross-departmental collaboration, valuing diverse perspectives to execute and streamline the Final Mile Transition Process, enhancing efficiency and simplification, and be responsible for clear and inclusive communication of changes to all stakeholders.

How You'll Create Possibilities

  • Growth Planning: Collaborate with diverse teams such as GE Appliances Final Mile Leaders, Commercial/Sales stakeholders, and other internal/external groups to develop a comprehensive strategy to proactively grow market volume. This could include leading the onboarding activities for potential new Home Delivery customer integration. Project Manage and facilitate meetings with leadership and sales to drive growth in these areas.
  • Coverage and Capacity: Proactively manage delivery network capacity. Facilitate Agent feedback and communicate changes to leadership. This includes managing ERP Shipping and Receiving Calendars and holiday promotional calendars.
  • Technology: Leverage tools, such as AI, to improve existing reporting, analysis, and data visualization to be more accurate, flexible, and responsive to market conditions. Be willing and open to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Key Performance Indicators: Develop Market Health Metric using leading indicators such as but not limited to driver teams, geography complexities, current and future volume, and warehouse status. Ensure this metric is easily accessible and understandable across all organizational levels to facilitate data-driven decision making.
  • Transitions: Collaborate with various departments to communicate, execute, and improve the Final Mile Transition Process, while respecting different perspectives and ideas. This includes but is not limited to New Agent Creation and Territory changes, with the aim of enhancing efficiency and making Final Mile easier to do business with.

What You'll Bring to Our Team

Position Requirements:

  • Data Analytics: This role requires a motivated individual with a history of data-driven decision-making. Strong data analytics skills, with advanced proficiency in Excel and Access, or similar tools, required. The ideal candidate is passionate about data analytics, excels in presenting ideas, and is committed to problem-solving. Oracle Advanced Analytics background a plus.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with aspects of distribution, including warehousing, transportation, logistics, and Final Mile best practices. Knowledge of industry trends and technologies in the distribution and supply chain domain. Commercial Sales experience, also a plus.
  • Communication and Influence: This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders across the business, facilitating idea-generation sessions, and holding business process owners accountable for their commitments. Excellent communication skills and teamwork mindset are a must.
  • Expect up to 10-20% domestic travel and occasional weekend/evening work flexibility.

Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of relevant work experience. Minimum of two years of project management and data analysis experience.

Education: Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Data Analytic, or related fields
