Finance & administration manager (m/w/d) - Bergisch Gladbach

The Finance Manager is the sparring partner for every department and managers within the company. He can coordinate several tasks in the business unit and is able to lead his team. His aim is to make the business unit everyday better and more efficient.

• Technical and disciplinary management of the Finance & Administration Team
• Participation in all areas of accounting
• Preparation of financial statements according to HGB in close cooperation with the tax advisor
• Preparation of weekly, monthly, and quarterly management reporting and give recommendation on further action
• Direct reporting to the GM and the financial department, located in Taiwan, of the group
• Responsibility for the budget and controlling of it, inlc. cash flow planning
• Clarification of tax and other legal issues and ability to ensure the compliance of accounting regulation and legal regulation of the company’s operation (with external support)
• Management of all HR related issues
• Responsibility for all contracts and legal issues IT, work safety (all with external support),

In addition, as a hands-on Finance Manager you also ensure guidelines, procedures, controls and you follow developments to guarantee the quality, timeliness, completeness and correctness of the financial administration. You are the indispensable link between strategy and implementation and therefore ensure:
The financial administration of the activities in the business units and to support the market unit with reporting and analysis of the operating results.

• Bachelor’s Degree in business, certified accountant or similar
• More than 5 Years of experience in financial reporting or bookkeeping
• First experience in leading a Team
• Entrepreneurial and analytical thinking
• Fluent English and German skills – Chinese desirable
• Good IT knowledge is required
• Open minded, excellent Communication skills
• Ability to work and effectively communicate with stakeholders
• Understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles
• Experience in an international setting
• Hands-on mentality
• Familiar with bookkeeping software, - DATEV and strong demonstrated use of Excel
