OVERVIEW

Caribou Thunder is seeking a Finance Administrator to support an office that provides financial transactional support across the Washington metro area from two locations in McLean, VA and Chantilly, VA. the office consolidates and standardizes financial transactions across all finance platforms for government partners. Primarily dealing with voucher, travel and accounting software.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma or GED plus 3 years of experience performing financial records processing and financial records management.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide prompt and attentive service to customer queries and provide guidance on accounting procedures and policies.
• Obligating and auditing claimant reimbursements and advance requests.
• Preparing a high volume of travel and procurement vouchers.
• Establish obligations for numerous activities, such as approved training courses, travel and procurements.
• Audit miscellaneous reimbursement claims in support of approved activities.
• Prompt voucher turn-around-time (dependent upon the complexity and responsiveness of the customer) of 48-72 hour is necessary.
