We're currently looking for a Finance Analyst 2 to join our team in Franklin, TN.

Job Summary

This position serves as the budget coordinator for the Nissan North America Purchasing Department. This person will review and track purchasing production and vendor expenditure requests. This person will also prepare, consolidate and distribute monthly production purchasing reports through knowledge and usage of several purchasing systems such as Tableau, Excel, SAP, CFP and others. This person will also support the monthly production parts financial close process to ensure accurate reporting. Conducts complex ad-hoc analysis as needed.

Job Functions

Utilize various purchasing systems to construct manipulate dashboards, run standard monthly and ad hoc reports. Produce root cause variance analysis. Collaborate with purchasing client groups to achieve cost reduction targets. Processes and tracks expenditure requests, analyzing costs vs. benefits. Processes/pays weekly invoices and prepares inter-company and invoices. Processes monthly journal entries and accruals to ensure accurate financial reporting. Prepares and distributes monthly reporting to the global Nissan function. Prepares and distributes monthly supplier dashboard to the senior management. Verifies, approves and monitors production part price change requests. Processes production part fluctuation reclasses. Serves as the liaison to Nissan global purchasing administration for non-production purchasing. Support monthly calls with senior management as needed. Works with internal purchasing clients, as well as cross-functionally with finance, engineering and NNA affiliates. Performs other related duties and ad-hoc reports as necessary.

Job Knowledge and Skill:

Firm understanding of accounting principles; excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to successfully work with diverse groups; a self-starter with the ability to adapt in a rapidly changing environment; and strong analytical skills with the ability to identify problems and take corrective action when necessary.

Experience:

3+ years of experience at a professional level in related field.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Accounting or related field.
