Summary of Role:
GlobalFoundries seeks an experience Financial Analyst will help drive revenue and cost recognition, financial planning and forecasting on engineering service projects globally across our dynamic businesses and functions. The candidate will work across the organization to understand accounting impacts, key business issues and devise actionable strategic recommendations with corroborating financial analysis.
Essential Responsibilities include:
- Provides finance function transactional and analytical support for finance business processes for the manufacturing finance and working capital teams.
- The financial analyst role provides critical linkage between the company's operational activities and the financial implications to the business.
- Maintain complex financial models used for profitability analysis and cash flow planning.
- Monitor financial performance by analyzing and reporting on variances from plan.
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis to ensure the best corporate decisions are made to achieve operational and financial objectives.
- Increase productivity by working with internal partners to develop repeatable business processes.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with project management, R&D, Controllership and site finance teams.
Other Responsibilities:
- Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.
Required Qualifications:
- Education - Graduating with a Bachelor's in Finance, Business Administration or related field from an accredited degree program.
- Must have at least an overall 3.0 GPA and proven good academic standing.
- Language Fluency - English (Written & Verbal)
- Travel - Up to 10%
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior related internship or co-op experience.
- Demonstrated prior leadership experience in the workplace, school projects, competitions, etc.
- Project management skills, i.e. the ability to innovate and execute on solutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong planning & organizational skills

Expected Salary Range
$44,100.00 - $78,800.00
The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.
