The Finance Analyst - Accounting & Control will provide timely financial information to support the decision-making processes to local management and Endeavour Group. Managing and maintaining financial records, including general ledger accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, financial statements and responsible for maintaining the financial integrity of the Pinnacle Wine Services results to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Job Description

Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role:

• Drive and deliver the month-end process for Pinnacle Wine Services entities.
• Identify and effectively report balance sheet risk through the monthly preparation of general ledger reconciliations and drive improvements across the group.
• Undertake internal control testing and compile information for internal and external auditors, including explanation of movements in key accounts.
• Maintaining documented controls and process flows to identify efficiencies and meet internal control requirements.
• Assist with preparation and analysis of the annual operating expense and capital budgets.
• Leveraging Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power BI to drive efficiencies.
• Proactive business partnering with Pinnacle and Endeavour Group finance teams to assist in providing details around financial information.

Qualifications

Now let’s talk about you: 

• Minimum of 5-7 years relevant experience 
• Degree qualification and CA/CPA.
• Good systems skills - D365, ERP, BI & Advanced Excel capability
• Strategic and commercial thinker
• Strong business partnering skills
• Ability to work with multiple stakeholders including senior leadership members
• Ability to remain focused under pressure and prioritise accordingly 
• Strong written and verbal communication and influencing skills
• Commercial Insight - Analysis & Insights 
• Proactively contribute and drive towards a culture of continuous improvement 
• Retail or drinks industry experience desirable
