Finance Analyst - (MGM Grand)

THE JOB:

The Analyst of Planning and Analysis will report directly to Manager of Planning and Analysis. This Analyst will provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis to support the CFO and participate in the Property-level budgeting process in collaboration with the Corporate FP&A team. The Analyst is located on-Property, and therefore his or her work spans across its functional areas. The Analyst will be expected to manage their own execution in supporting broader team initiatives. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and MGM Resorts policies, practices and procedures

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supports Manager in all budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analyzing efforts.
• Collaborates with all Corporate and Property stakeholders to understand and create solutions for their business analytical needs.
• Collaborates with the BI and Data Governance team to gather functional area requirements to meet reporting and analytical needs.
• Assists in completing all monthly, quarterly, annual, and other ad-hoc analyses and reports, ensuring all are completed accurately and on-time.
• Presents clear analyses and recommendations to team leaders.

A GREAT CANDIDATE HAS:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent experience.
• One (1) year of related experience.
• Experience in hospitality operations.
• Experience in working with all levels of management, including executives and consulting with key business stakeholders preferred
