Finance and HR Technology Manager
Job Description
Tower Research Capital, a high-frequency proprietary trading firm founded in 1998, seeks a Finance and HR Technology Manager.
The Finance and HR Technology Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of all Oracle applications and will partner with Finance and HR on workflow and reporting automation initiatives.
Tower is embarking on a major multi-year initiative to enhance and automate its Finance, Operations, and HR platforms. The candidate is expected to partner with the CFO and Head of HR Operations on these initiatives and work closely with all key stakeholders at Tower.
Responsibilities
- Collaborating with HR and Finance Technology team in India on open projects and liaising with global team to share updates and drive projects to completionÂ
- Reviewing existing HR and Finance systems and recommending changes and enhancements as appropriate
- Supervising day to day Tower Oracle infrastructure, including Enterprise Data Management Cloud Service, Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service, Financial Consolidation and Close Cloud Service, Fusion Self Service Procurement Cloud Service Partnering with CFO and Head of HR Operations on infrastructure enhancement and process improvement
- Managing system integrations and implementations
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree and at least 10 years of experience
- Experience working with Oracle applications noted above
- Strong project management experience (either partnering with internal technology teams or 3rd party vendors)
- Identifying inefficiencies around data gathering, representation, reporting, and associated workflows in the existing systems and processes, and delivering short term improvements
- Experience working with HR projects and people analytics
- Experience with ERP / HRIS implementation projects
