About the team

We are building an elite team to drive financial insight and strategy at Stripe. The GTM Finance Operations team brings understanding and predictability to Stripe’s financials, and we work together with our key business partners to accelerate long term growth for Stripe. Your work will be highly visible to Stripe leadership and instrumental to realizing Stripe's business aspirations.

What you’ll doResponsibilities

• Partner with Sales Operations and other GTM Leaders to drive the success of Stripe's commercial efforts
• Work cross functionally to identify important strategy questions and answer them with data
• Build financial forecasts and targets, track performance and understand deviations from actuals to drive strategy and operational rigor
• Gain deep knowledge and understanding of Stripe's business performance across geographies and user segments
• Support Stripe leadership in evaluating go-to-market resource allocation and investment decisions
• Define metrics and leading indicators of business performance and partner with the Analytics team to develop tools and dashboards to make these metrics widely accessible across Stripe

Who you are

Minimum requirements

• At least 7+ years of operational experience including experience within investment banking, management consulting, private equity, venture capital, or business insights / analytics roles
• Intermediate or advanced knowledge of SQL or Python
• A proven ability to build strong collaborative working relationships with business partners and department leads. You are seen as a trusted and objective advisor
• Experience working on ambiguous and large scale strategy problems
• An enthusiastic "roll up your sleeves" mentality
• A proven ability to be a self-starter capable of driving business results without significant supervision

Preferred qualifications

• Experience in a strategic finance function at a high-growth tech company, preferably in the payments/fintech space
• Experience supporting Go-to-Market functions
• Experience with dashboard and data visualization tools
• Experience working in a global capacity (this team will work will all regions)
