What you will be doing:

Your typical day as a Toshiba Accounting assistant involve:

•  Preparing and analyzing supplier invoices, preparing the form and sending it to accounts payable.
•  Monitoring bank payments with the US Treasury.
•  Preparing withholding tax bases for suppliers and clients.
•  Supporting other finance-related requests, such as sending invoices for withholding tax analysis, reconciling and analyzing balance sheet accounts

Naturally, to be successful in this role, you must have and know:

• A bachelor's degree in accounting.
• English and Spanish intermediate, who understands and responds to emails.
• 1+ years or more of relevant experience in similar functions in tax and accounting as follow: Experience with local regulations.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Experience with direct and indirect taxes, including the preparation of monthly, annual returns, review of legal and tax requirements in the country.
• Handle stressful situations with ease. Able to meet deadlines and act with sense of urgency.
• Good communication skills; demonstrated professional, tactful problem-solving skills with personal presence to interface with corporate decision makers.
• Ability to compile, analyze and interpret financial information and data to facilitate decision making of his boss.
• Must be a collaborator who works in a team, but able to work independently and under pressure.
• Knowledge of Brazilian taxes - Pis, coffins, Iss, IR, ICMS, mainly

Its be a plus:

• Some experience in analyzing supplier and customer invoices; indirect taxes; withholding tax analysis and balance sheet analysis and reconciliation.
• Experience in ERP - Oracle or SAP or another .
• Experience in an accounting / tax firms.
• Excell , Word, power point
