Finance Assistant

Full-time / Permanent / Onsite based at our offices in South San Francisco

Zero Emissions Industries is looking for a Finance Assistant to manage expenses, purchasing, and basic bookkeeping. 

What you’ll do:

• Work with the team to collect necessary information for accurate and timely expense reporting within Expensify and Quickbooks
• Liaise with the off-site Accountant to ensure that they have all necessary information for proper cost accounting
• Oversee purchasing transactions for the organization, including order placement, expense categorization, vendor management, shipment tracking, and corporate credit card tracking
• Work hand-in-hand with employees to ensure regular on-time and accurate hour tracking in accordance with accounting requirements
• Prepare financial reports and analytics
• Assist with inventory management and other relevant operational duties

What you know:

• Basics of bookkeeping 
• How to use Expensify and Quickbooks effectively
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, etc)
• Basic financial calculations and analytical formulas
• Great professional communication skills
