Finance Assistant (on-site, 30 hours / week)

Hangar 13 is an internal 2K development studio that creates influential AAA video game experiences across all major platforms. What We Need

We are currently seeking a thorough and customer-centric individual to join our finance team as a Part-Time Finance Assistant. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience in accounting while chipping in to the smooth operation of our finance department.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Responsible for administrative tasks related to employee expenses.
• Review and sort transactions expensed through the finance system according to the Income Tax Act changes valid from January 2024.
• Maintain evidence of taxable amounts per employee on a monthly basis.
• Connect with employees regarding the correctness of expensed amounts.
• Prepare accounting entries and connect with employees on this matter.
• Responsibility for business trips reconciliation agenda
• Perform other administrative tasks as requested by the manager, such as scanning and sorting documents.
• Serve as a back-up for other team members, handling incoming mail and reception duties.

You Might Also Have:

• High school Business Academy education is a plus (Obchodni akademie)
• Basic knowledge of finance or accounting and travel expenses reconciliation is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills in English and a local language.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
