Within Finance, our Portfolio Management Reporting & Analysis (PMRA) is a dynamic group that is responsible for all aspects of compensation reporting, forecasting, and analysis, including management of the monthly accounting accruals, expense and balance sheet reconciliations, firm-wide deferred compensation, reporting of key metrics, cash forecasting, and year-end bonus calculation for our Investment Professionals.  Our team is constantly challenged to meet the growing size of the Firm and the complexity of the compensation paradigms and new business initiatives.

What You’ll Do

As a Finance Associate you will join a dynamic and collaborative team with the opportunity to make an impact and learn in the process. You will be responsible for maintaining all aspects of compensation deliverables, with a particular focus on accounting, modeling, and reporting.

• Calculate contractual performance bonuses for all Portfolio Managers and Investment Professionals for monthly accrual and year-end payment purposes
• Create and manage analytical reports used by business unit leaders and Senior Management
• Present analytical findings in a clear, concise, and compelling manner that will drive action plans
• Liaise with colleagues across Finance to maintain existing accounting policies and establish new policies as the business develops
• Identify and implement process improvements to minimize opportunities for error and to improve the timeliness of our deliverables
• Manage ad-hoc requests to support the strategic goals of the business

Who We’re Looking For

We are seeking a strategic and analytical thinker with excellent attention to detail to join our team. Specifically, you will have:

• Bachelor’s degree with a quantitative component
• 3-4 years of experience
• Excellent quantitative, analytical, and critical thinking skills with experience in accounting fundamentals and financial reporting
• The ability to efficiently model and analyze sizeable amounts of data and work with the technology team to identify opportunities where improvement is essential
• Solid verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present financial results and recommendations to Senior Management
• A positive attitude with flexibility to manage change and build working relationships with our clients within Finance and throughout the Firm
• Have excellent attention to detail with a process-oriented approach
• Sound Excel skills to help enhance and streamline current processes
• Commitment to the highest ethical standards
