DESCRIPTION

The location is KEP, Pune .

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Reporting and Analysis:
  2. Prepare basic financial reports for management, including reviews for areas of emphasis and follow-up.
  3. Analyze financial data to support departmental budgets and forecasts.
  4. Explain expense variances and promote spending awareness within the organization.
  5. Load actual and forecast data into the financial system.
  6. Month-End and Budgeting Activities:
  7. Perform month-end closing activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and analysis of financial results.
  8. Support the annual budget and forecasting processes.
  9. Operational Support:
  10. Manage and monitor plant costs, including direct and indirect costs, overheads, and variances.
  11. Support daily financial processes such as purchase requisitions, invoice reconciliation, supplier payments, and check requests.
  12. Address questions concerning monthly budget data and financial processes.
  13. Process Improvement:
  14. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial operations.
  15. Lead or participate in cross-functional projects aimed at optimizing plant performance.
  16. Special Projects and Ad Hoc Reporting:
  17. Participate in special projects as assigned.
  18. Perform ad hoc reporting requests as needed.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience:

3-4 years of experience in a finance role, preferably within a manufacturing or plant environment.

Strong understanding of cost accounting, financial analysis, and budgeting.
