Within Finance, our Portfolio Management Reporting & Analysis (PMRA) is a dynamic group that is responsible for all aspects of compensation reporting, forecasting, and analysis, including management of the monthly accounting accruals, expense and balance sheet reconciliations, firm-wide deferred compensation, reporting of key metrics, cash forecasting, and year-end bonus calculation for our Investment Professionals.  Our team is constantly challenged to meet the growing size of the Firm and the complexity of the compensation paradigms and new business initiatives.

What You’ll Do

As a Finance Associate you will join a dynamic and collaborative team with the opportunity to make an impact at the senior leadership level.

• Create financial models to be used by Senior Management and business leaders
• Present analytical findings and “tell a story” to Senior Management
• Support the strategic goals of the business via delivery prioritized requests form Senior Management
• Assist with the calculation of contractual firm related performance bonuses for all Portfolio Managers and Investment Professionals for monthly accrual and year-end payment purposes
• Identify improvements to current state processes to enhance business efficiency and improve the timeliness of deliverables

Who We’re Looking For

We are seeking a strategic and analytical thinker with excellent attention to detail to join our team. Specifically, you will have:

• Bachelor’s degree with a quantitative component
• Minimum of 4 years of accounting experience
• Excellent quantitative, analytical, and critical thinking skills with experience in accounting fundamentals and financial reporting
• The ability to efficiently model and analyze sizeable amounts of data and work with the technology team to identify opportunities where improvement is essential
• Solid verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present financial results and recommendations to Senior Management
• A positive attitude with flexibility to manage change and build working relationships with our clients within Finance and throughout the Firm
• Have excellent attention to detail with a process-oriented approach
• Sound Excel skills to help enhance and streamline current processes
• Commitment to the highest ethical standards
