Job description

Job Summary: • The Finance Auditor II position is to report to Finance Auditor III and is responsible for the daily review of Finance Auditor I completed daily audits and the posting of prepared journal entries from the auditor. Required Certifications: • Must be at least 21 years of age and have a high school diploma or higher. Prior audit experience required and must be able to obtain a gaming registration card. Qualifications: • Must be skilled in Excel and other computer applications. Must have the ability to solve problems, attention to detail. Have strong communication, planning and organization skills. Mastery of additional task that are routinely performed by a lead auditor, which may include training of auditors and the preparation of the daily drop spreadsheet. Must be able to bend and lift up to 25lbs. as needed and sit for extended amounts of time. Must be friendly and a team player with a willing to work attitude with the capability of task monitoring and take leadership initiative. Duties and Responsibilities: • Review completed daily audits for accuracy from the responsibilities of the Finance Auditor I and provide professional feedback. • Answer questions as needed from Finance Auditor I. • Review and post the prepared daily journals into GP (Great Plains) • Follow up with unexplained variances and send to surveillance for review for any variances that cannot be identified through audit. • Close days in the Slot Gaming system once audits are completed for the audit period. • Decline tickets upon management request with proper explanation confirming the request is valid. • Monthly review Unredeemed Ticket reports to ensure tickets have been redeemed or declined based on audit findings. • Monthly purging of Unredeemed Tickets from Slot Gaming system. • Ensure exceptions are being responded to by management within a two/three business days. • Review that the Monthly, Quarterly and Annual requirements are being performed in accordance with the MICS (Minimum Internal Control Standards) required by the GBC (Gaming Control Board). • Perform other duties that may be assigned.
