Finance & BizOps Intern (Summer 2023)

The Finance & Bizops (FBOS) internship is a 12-week hybrid summer experience that blends learning with impact. Our interns are embedded directly into our team, contributing immediately to impactful projects and constant learning.

You will join the FBOS team supporting the Customer Experience organization with transitioning to the next phase of growth as we continue to serve more customers. You will dive into the data to help surface actionable insights for key decision makers, help enhance reporting capabilities and review existing agreements for cost savings opportunities among other tasks.

What it is like to Work with Gusto

Here’s what you’ll do day-to-day:

• Work cross-functionally to complete high impact projects
• Develop technical and financial skills as you tackle challenging projects
• Proactively identify risks and opportunities and offer simple, innovative solutions
• Assist with various aspects of the closing process such as researching variances and preparing monthly reports

Here’s what we're looking for:

• Rising senior in an undergraduate degree program in Finance, Accounting or a related field
• Quick learner, strong intellectual curiosity, strong analytical and communication skills
• Candidates with a service mindset, bringing a positive attitude to work everyday with the goal to produce outcomes that positively impact our Customers, Members, and Gusties
• Structured thinker with sound attention to detail with the ability to find, analyze, and summarize information from a variety of sources
• Proficient in Excel and the MS Office Suite (Word, Powerpoint, etc)
• Experience with SQL is a plus

Our cash compensation amount for this role is targeted at $32.70/hr in Denver. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate location, experience and expertise, and may vary from the amount listed above.
