Job Description

We expect the Finance Business Partner to:

• Partner with business lines to deliver strategic financial insights,
• Coordinate budgeting and forecasting processes,
• Develop financial models to aid decision-making,
• Provide periodic reporting for senior management, including providing analysis and insights that link financial reports to business strategies,
• Deliver financial literacy training to staff,
• Improve the impact, and understanding, of financial reporting on business performance,
• Review client accounts and projects to identify risks and underperformance of finances early,
• Undertake due diligence research on acquisitions and mergers,
• Communicate opportunities for improvement,
• Develop and maintaining relationships across the business.

Qualifications

Must-have skills: 

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant business or economic field,
• +6 years of experience working as a Finance Business Partner or Head of Finance,
• Professional qualifications, including completing an internationally recognized accounting designation such as CPA, ACA, ACMA, or ACCA,
• Experience working with business requirements,
• Ability to make complex decisions and rationalize them according to others,
• Strong analytical skills, ability to work with a large amount of information,
• Strong knowledge of Excel,
• Ability to work independently and proactively manage upcoming deliverables.,
• Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, including effective communication abilities with individual colleagues, relevant teams, and senior management and board members,
• Strong negotiation, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills.

Nice-to-have skills: 

• Experience working with financial software is a plus.
