Position Overview
We are looking for a Financial Business Partner to be a trusted team member partnering with senior leaders on a key project transforming the way Autodesk interacts with our customers and develop a framework enhancing our ROI and spend analysis across the Go-To-Market and Operations at Autodesk. This is an exciting role with exposure to senior leadership and will have significant impact contributing directly to Autodesk's continued success.
Successful candidates will have a strategic mindset, collaboration skills, financial aptitude, excellent business intuition, and the capability to work at multiple levels, including high level strategy and day-to-day financial details. They will be able to architect highly visible financial analysis and modeling, draw insights, and articulate impact from various business factors to inform key stakeholders. They must be comfortable in engaging with a broad range of cross-functional teams and establish trusted partnerships in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Be the strategic business partner for senior leadership on a large multiyear project
- Develop and implement a framework enhancing ROI analysis and spend categorization across the operations organization
- Partner with other Finance Business Partners across our operations organization to standardize and improve our spend analysis and ROI process
- Demonstrate strong grasp of accounting principles to navigate through a complicated budget with both OPEX and CAPEX
- Build and maintain a financial model to forecast long range project spend and P&L impacts
- Ensure project and program changes are validated, and the financial impacts approved by business and finance leadership
- Analyze actual spending against budget/forecast
- Partner across finance organizations
- Manage the quarterly close process, including quarter-end accruals
- Drive continuous process improvements to achieve more efficient results
- Work with business leaders to establish annual budgets to achieve objectives within budget. Manage, prepare, administer, and direct control of the budget
Preferred Qualifications
- 8+ years of relevant experience
- Prior experience in forecasting and financial modeling
- Ability to collaborate and partner effectively with a variety of non-financial stakeholders
- Highly adaptable and independent thinker
- Excellent communicator and strong time management abilities
- Experience with building and maintaining trust
- Effective analytical, modeling, and presentation skills
- High attention to detail and ability to drive process improvements
This position will require a flexible schedule with periodic evening and morning calls with team members across time zones.

Salary is one part of Autodesk's competitive package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $97,100 and $157,080. Offers are based on the candidate's experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
