Position Overview
Autodesk Construction Solutions (ACS) is looking for a trusted finance business partner to join our Sales Finance team. This person reports directly to the Senior Manager of ACS Sales Finance and is the primary business partner to the Director of ACS Sales, AMER Named Accounts. The candidate must demonstrate independence, excellence and integrity in decision making and business judgment. A strong knowledge of information systems, financial planning, accounting, strategic planning, risk assessment and business development is required, preferably in a software company.
The right candidate for this role will demonstrate strong collaboration skills, financial aptitude, excellent business intuition, and the capability to work at multiple levels, including high level strategy and day-to-day financial details.
This finance business partner will have frequent interactions and collaborate with the local sales teams, cross-functional deal teams and finance teams and enable optimal informed business decisions through strong, effective analysis and key business insights.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the weekly ACV and billing forecast for the ACS Sales AMER Named Accounts team and actively participate in the annual business planning cycle, allocating targets among individual portfolios and Named Account customers
- Develop, maintain and manage reporting of Enterprise Business Agreements (EBA) across Global ACS Sales EBA token offerings
- Coordinate with Named Account FBPs and supporting teams to manage EBA deals forecasting, deal structuring, and review
- Build Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) for sales and finance senior management, present an EOQ finance deck to review performance and metrics
- Collaborate within ACS Finance and the broader sales finance community to facilitate and drive the evolution of our reporting and analysis tools, to keep up with the evolution of business requirements
- Drive automation of systems and processes, utilizing a framework of continuous process improvement. Monitor effectiveness of Finance policies and recommend improvements to achieve and deliver improved results
- Support sales teams and their pipeline management through Salesforce.com
- Utilize connected planning tools such as Anaplan to facilitate regular forecast submissions from the sales teams
- Perform analysis of individual or aggregated account portfolios, including different trends by industry or customer segment
- Establish relationships with other groups such as Sales Ops, Renewals, Legal, Commissions, Revenue Accounting, Tax, etc. to support the sales teams
- Contribute to quarter end close cycle and other time-sensitive deliverables as needed
- Act as fiduciary in the best interest of the company, free of conflicts of interest and with objectivity, integrity, and truthfulness
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor degree (finance, business or accounting)
- CPA or MBA is desired but not required
- Minimum of 8 years of progressively responsible business & finance experience
- Minimum of 5 years' experience providing financial, operational, and administrative support to high tech sales organizations
- Articulate and concise with strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Influencing skills at various levels (staff, peers, superiors) are very important
- Ability to stay abreast of important details as well as distill knowledge into an easily communicable message is critical
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage tight deadlines
- Ambitious and ability to learn quickly
- Strong team player and leadership potential
- Ability to work on cross-functional teams across the globe
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel
- Anaplan, Salesforce and Power BI experience a plus
