Finance Intern 2024

The Role   

In this position, you will be part of a 9- week Global Intern program. MarketAxess’ finance team is looking for a driven intern to join our team. The candidate will get exposure to multiple functions within the Finance department including FP&A, Treasury, Finance Systems, Accounting, and Investor Relations. Demonstrating organization and prioritization skills, the intern will balance competing priorities and progress multiple projects simultaneously that help drive our business forward.  

How You'll Help Take Us There 

• Create dynamic dashboards to illustrate trends in activity within markets, regions, and clients. 
• Own several process improvement projects over the course of the internship and present findings to Chief Financial Officer.
• Aid with data quality/validation from new data sources.

What We're Looking for   

• Currently studying a bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, or Business.
• Intern candidates must be graduating in December 2024 or May 2025.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States permanently without employment visa sponsorship required now or in the future. 
• Strong results orientation.
• Strong MSOffice skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

For job positions in NYC, NY, and other locations where required, the estimated salary for a new hire into this position is $27.50 USD per hour. Actual salary may vary depending on job-related factors, which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
