Job Overview:

The primary role will be to work with SSG Finance team to support revenue and expense forecast and reporting, product line P&L reporting and help with other projects within the group, as necessary.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist with BG financial reporting.
• Assist with product line P&L reporting.
• Document and create flow charts of existing processes.
• Assist with forecasting and budgeting.
• Assist with audit requests.
• Assist with internal and cross functions projects.
• Contribute ideas and insights to brainstorming sessions aimed at driving innovation and continuous process improvement.
• Assist worldwide Finance and business teams with completion of tasks as needed.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen interest in Finance
• Detail oriented and well organized.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and willingness to learn new software applications.
• Prior experience in Planning and forecasting is a plus.
• Experience with data/analytics tools (ie Tableau, PowerBI, etc) a plus.

• Currently enrolled in a BS/MS in Business Administration or equivalent.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft applications: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Good teamwork and influencing skills.
• Good research skills - ability to find, analyze, and summarize information from a variety of sources.
• The internship will be based in the Bay Area, California, at Cadence's corporate headquarters.
