Finance Intern

What You Will Do

• Gain insight into our operations finance organization through completion of a project aimed at improving an aspect of our plant finance operations & reporting. Operations supports 16 manufacturing sites across the U.S. This will provide an opportunity to learn how the leading battery manufacturer in the world utilizes finance to deliver and improve upon their results.
• Gain insight into our commercial finance organization through completion of a project aimed at improving an aspect of our commercial portfolio. On the commercial side, Clarios sells to all the major OEM and Aftermarket customers in the region. This project will allow an opportunity to gain insight into how those contracts and relationships are managed from a financial perspective.
• Gain insight into our FP&A organization through supporting the monthly consolidation and analysis of financial results and associated financial reporting along with preparation of materials for the monthly operations review or regional operations review with leadership.
• Accounts Receivable - Management of working capital introduction to: collections, customer programs, customer deductions, debit/credit memos

How You Will Do It

What We Look For

• Currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited U.S. college or university
• Pursuing a degree in accounting or finance
• U.S. citizen or legal right to work in the U.S.
• Ability to be in the greater Milwaukee area in the summer
• Duration: Summer 2023. Up to 40 hours per week. Part-time during the school year may be available.
• Working Arrangements: Hybrid internship - must have a quiet workspace away from interruptions if working remotely. Be able to maintain regular contact with the supervisor/team via virtual methods.
